Family Fun Day 2025

On August 24, 2025, Sholom Foundation hosted its third annual Family Fun Day fundraiser benefitting Sholom at the Ackerberg Sholom West Campus. We enjoyed the special opportunity to honor Cindi and Harold Goldfine, longtime supporters of Sholom.

The Sholom Community all came together during this block party-style event and enjoyed delicious offerings from food trucks, outdoor activities for all ages, and a short program elevating the importance of why Sholom is so important to our future.

Thanks to our generous donors, this year’s event was ticketless, with no cost to register or attend. Proceeds from the event continue to help advance our mission of providing exceptional care and services to older adults.

Heritage Society Event August 2024

Thank you to all who attended our Heritage Society event on August 6th and to our hosts, Michael J. Blum and Abigail Rose. Participants were invited to dream big and set a vision for a legacy with community impact. The Heritage Society recognizes the generosity of those who include Sholom Foundation in their estate plans.

Check out our photos from the event, and let's keep exploring the incredible impact of legacy giving.

Family Fun Day 2024

More than 300 guests came out to Sholom’s Shaller Family East campus in St. Paul on Sunday, June 30 to honor Chuck Selcer for his tireless advocacy in our community and to thank Barbara Klick as, after nearly nine years as CEO, she has retired from Sholom.

Supporters, agencies, partners, volunteers, residents and their families all came together once again across the generations to experience program activities, food trucks, and a short program, elevating the need of why Sholom is so important to our future, raising funds to support Sholom's operations and programming across the Twin Cities.

Thanks to the generosity of Sholom supporters and sponsors, this year's event was ticketless, with no cost to register and attend.
